Draft for review. This text has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before EaseBill launches.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email, phone number and profile photo.
  • Transactions: wallet funding, trades, withdrawals, bill payments and their references.
  • Bank accounts you save for withdrawals (bank, account number and account name).
  • Payment method details from Paystack: card type, bank, country and the first six and last four digits. We never receive or store your full card number or card PIN.
  • Device information needed for push notifications and security, such as your device’s notification token and IP address.

2. How we use it

  • To run your wallet, trades, withdrawals and bill payments.
  • To keep accounts safe, for example spotting a card used on several accounts or unusual withdrawals.
  • To send you receipts and important notices, and offers you can turn off.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

Only the partners needed to provide the service, and only what they need:

  • Paystack, for card payments, bank transfers and withdrawals.
  • Quidax, for crypto wallets and trades.
  • VTPass, for airtime, data, TV and electricity.
  • Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in.

We don’t sell your personal information.

4. Your PIN and password

Your transaction PIN is stored only as a secure hash and checked on our servers. We never ask for your password or PIN by phone, WhatsApp or email.

5. How long we keep it

We keep transaction records for as long as the law requires. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and keep only the records we’re legally required to hold.

6. Your choices

You can update your name, phone and photo in the app, turn off marketing notifications, and delete your account from Profile. You can also ask us for a copy of your data.
